Great Britain 1963 Windsor Castle £1 black.  Bradbury Wilkinson unissued printing on Chalk-surfaced paper.  Superb unmounted mint condition.  David Brandon Certificate No. 23,218 (1998).  There are two theories as to the status of this stamp.  The first suggests that it is from a small printing of 30 made prior to the introduction of non-watermarked paper.  The other is that it is a Paper Trial printing.  QUANTITY : 30 MINT.  OUTSTANDING AND EXCEEDINGLY RARE.  AN EXHIBITION PIECE.
