Rhodesia & Nyasaland 1960 Queen Elizabeth II Opening of Kariba Hydro-Electric Scheme. 3d. blackish green and red-orange omitted. A complete sheet of 60 stamps with Sheet Number ‘20111’ in margin. Error on Column four, ‘Red-orange Omitted’. Partial omission of the colour noted on columns three and five. Superb unmounted mint condition. Murray Payne Certificate No. 1196/01-10 (2010). Note : A total of 24 examples of this error occurred coming from three different sheets. The first sheet was reported around the time of issue and yielded 12 examples. The second sheet appeared in Zimbabwe in 2001 and yielded six examples. The third sheet (numbered 20111), which is the only sheet that remains intact, yields six examples (this piece). AN OUTSTANDING OPPORTUNITY TO OWN ONE OF THE MOST IMPORTANT AND SPECTACULAR COMMONWEALTH ERRORS IN EXISTENCE.
