South Africa/Cape of Good Hope 1861 Queen Victoria “Woodblock” Entire from Graaf Reinet to Somerset East. 4d. blue “Woodblock”. Franking tied with large triangular obliterator. Graaf Reinet town oval handstamp in red on reverse and Somerset East town oval handstamp in black on front. Adhesive very fine with two large margins, one close. Entire fine with normal damage where the wax seal was removed. Royal Philatelic Society Certificate (1966). Provenance : George Boucher (June 1953) and “Salisbury” (September 1995). OUTSTANDING AND EXCEEDINGLY RARE.
