Cape/Mafeking.  1900 BOER WAR.  1/-.  Printed by the local printers Messrs Townshend & Son.  Printed in blue with the value added in green and before delivery, the Serial Number B7476 was added in black.  This note was catalogued Errors as follows :- the word ‘Civil’ the dot has been omitted on the first “i”; there is a break in the Crown of the Royal Crest; the full stop is outside the bracket after the words ‘Rhodesian Forces’ and in the lower left corner a tall capital “I” is used in the word ‘MAFEKING’.  QUANTITY ISSUED :- 1983  VERY FINE AND EXTREMELY SCARCE IN THIS CONDITION.
